Delete my account

This is a translation for convenience. The French version prevails.

You can delete your eNotif account at any time, directly from the app.

From the app

  1. Open the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Delete my account.
  3. Confirm. Deletion is immediate.

What is deleted

  • Your name, @handle, photo and public page.
  • Your trusted phone and its public key, your sessions on every phone and browser, your notification tokens.
  • Your contacts, blocks and conversations.
  • Your inbox: the apps’ messages.
  • The link between your number and the apps: they can no longer send you a request or a message.

Your number is released: it can be used to create a new account. Your @handle becomes available again.

What may be kept

  • The security log (sign-ins, phone changes, reports), without your name, for as long as fraud prevention requires.
  • What apps already received: their identifier for you and your past answers. To have it erased on their side, contact each app.

Without the app

If you no longer have access to the app, write to the team from the account’s number, or include it in your message:

We check that the request comes from the number’s owner, then the account is deleted within 30 days, usually much sooner.
